1. please be kind and respectful.

Enough said. Just dont bash someone just because there not the greatest rper on earth. Just be nice and contribute to make other peoples experiance in this chat a good one. If you are being constantly rude or mean and have been warned by an operator or the founder, you will be demoted to a guest and kicked from the room. a secound offence will result in banishment.

2. keep the foul language to a minimum.

Remember not everyone in DA is an adult so please try to watch your language. A little is ok but execive cursing will not be tolerated.

3. NO GODMODEING!!!

Seriously your character cant be an almighty destroyer of worlds (in other words he cant destroy someone with just a though or destory the world with a flick of the wrist) and needs to have weaknesses. Characters that dont follow this really simple rule will be ignored and deleted.

4. Get hit once in a while!

If your character is fighting someone elses then it needs to recieve damage now and then. No one will think your cool because youve dodged all the bullets from a minigun for an hour. If you want to be a cheap prick then go elsewere.

5. Got a problem with anouther in the rp?

fine go have your fight elsewhere. People come here to rp and have fun, not to deal with your petty grudges.

6. No spaming.

We will take this very seriosly. anyone caught spaming that chat room will recieve a warning. A secound offence will result in an imeadiate banning.

7. No promoting.

Don’t come into this chat, and pester people who just want to roleplay together to come into your chatroom. It’s stupid, immature, and it will get you banned on the spot!

8. No idleing.

If you are idle for more then an hour, we kick you out. You can not be banned for idling, but if your going to idle the whole time, go join one of the legions of mindless drones at #idlerpg.

9. We will not change the world for you.

Too many times has someone come in and asked that we make it an anthro RP only, or to start over from the beginning. We will not do this. This RP was made to allow any character to be allowed to play and if we suddenly decided that only anthros, or vampires, or mages could play, it would ruin the RP for everyone. And if you ask us to just undo everything that has happened and start the world over, the answer will be NO! half of the fun in here is jumping in and learning about the world. If you don’t understand what’s going on, suck it up and learn it.

Operator responsibilities and rules
As an operator, you are the role model of the RPers. And as such, you are required to follow these rules:

1) You cannot demote/ban based off personal feelings about someone.

a) If you don’t like a player just because of their personality, past, ect, you cannot punish them for what they are. The only time you are allowed to ban someone is id they have broken the rules. Do not pester the founders to ban someone if the majority of the ops think the accused player doesn’t deserve it. This is rude, immature and will have you demoted to a guest until you shapen up.

b) Ops are to enforce the rules on a warning, kick, kickban basis

Only under extreme circumstance can you ban someone on their first offence. Otherwise, only ban the player if they continue to break the rules.

c) What the Ops say goes. But do NOT throw your weight around

You enforce the laws. You do not make them unless under extreme circumstance. Don’t change the RP without founder permission, and do not target players you don’t like. you are here to set a good example and help keep this room a nice place to rp.


11. rank.

As with all chats, these ranks are here for a reason. This guide will show you what each rank is and what they mean to you

Guest- All players being as guests. This is the best time to prove yourself to your peers. However, this is also the rank of rule breaking RPers who are close to a permanent ban. If you find yourself talking to a guest, try and help them as much as you can. Remember members and operators, you where all once guests yourselves.

Members- This is the second, and one of the most stable, ranks. To become a member, one must post a character in the journal and RP for enough time for the ops to see that you are ready to be promoted. As a member, it is your duty to help the guests in their time of need. If you do, perhaps you will reach an even greater rank.

Operator- This is the highest class that just anyone can become. To become an op, you must already be a member and must play for some time. If the ops believe that you will make a good operator, they must send a note or otherwise contact a founder. The founders must then review the nominated person and pass judgment. As an operator, it is your job to oversee the RP whenever possible, promote the good players while demoting and banning the bad. You will be expected to make a good example to all other players of lower rank

Founder- Few people make it to this level, and if you pull it off, I congratulate you. To become a founder you must be a player that Real-hatred trusts. If he believes you will uphold the law in the chat, you will be upgraded to this much sought after class. As a founder, you must over see the chat and shape it in a way that everyone can enjoy. But if you made it this far, you can handle that right?

The most important thing to remember about the rank in here is, NEVER, EVER ASK FOR A PROMOTION! THE ANSWER WILL BE NO! Only ask for a promotion if you have done everything required to be a member and the operators have forgotten. Other then that, NEVER ask to be an operator or a founder. We do not pick operators out of who can beg the best. And don’t start to whine when we tell you no or we will just demote you back to guest until you grow up.
